Why Obama is Plunging in the Polls

The latest polls by Scott Rasmussen show a precipitous drop in approval and rise in disapproval for President Obama.  He is now below 50% approval in two key swing states, Ohio and Virginia. More and more independents and moderates who were duped by his moderate election rhetoric into voting for him are regretting it. I believe that many of those voters were either unaware of his radically liberal voting record or believed that he would not have the audacity to push that leftist agenda while governing. They were wrong. The argument that I heard from the left was not to worry because even though he said he was going to do these radically leftist things, he didn't really mean it. He really was a nice guy and you like him don't you? He was just saying those thing to pander to his liberal base and that he would have to govern from the middle. I think that was part of the strategy to freeze legitimate concerns from the right about this man's murky past and radical associations and agenda.

I now believe this man is a self serving socialist president. Rahm Emanuel, his leftist thug chief of staff, put it succinctly,  "A crisis is a terrible thing to waste". Never mind that it's a crisis, let's just not waste it for our political power gain. We can buy votes, influence, and contributions with the taxpayer's dollars. That's the important thing. I see a blatant contempt for the working taxpayer in this administration's agenda. Joe the Plumber was told he must share the wealth. He was told that "trickle up" economics would help him. Let me ask you, when was the last time somebody with less money than you gave you money or a job?

Here is a nice listing of additional reasons for the big drop in his popularity from Instapundit:
